My sister Alexis Helaxma and I were able to gift the winners of the WSL tour, John John Florence and Caity Simmers, with hand made items welcoming them to our home land and waves on behalf of the Payómkawichum Nation. We shared hand made pottery by Master potter, Tony Suarez, and beaded shell medallions made by me, Genevra Munoa. We were so lucky to gift in conjunction with members of the Acjachemen tribe on our shared territory at Trestles.
